Review your beneficiary designations regularly to ensure the correct person is in line to receive benefits when the time comes.
Reporting a Death
In the event of a death of either a member or survivor annuitant, please contact KCPERS immediately at (816) 482-8138 to report a death. We will need to need to know Member’s name and official date of death for any processing of death benefit.
1099-R's will be mailed out by January 31st.
