Change of Address
As a retiree or beneficiary of KCPERS, it is important to keep your address current. Throughout the year you receive important documents from KCPERS including your retiree/beneficiary earnings statements, election notices, and tax forms. Even the healthcare information sent to you from the Employee Benefits Division is based upon the address you give to KCPERS.
If you’ve moved, plan to move, have a new phone number, or new email address, you’ll want to update your information, so you continue to receive important news and information. KCPERS must be notified in writing of any address changes. Signed address change forms are accepted by mail, fax or can be submitted in person. We do not accept change of address information by telephone or e-mail.
To make it easier for our members, we allow several options for submitting changes.
- You may complete the "Address Change Form" section on the back of your monthly earnings statement from Northern Trust,
- Print a Change of Address form by clicking HERE (this form must be signed before submitting to KCPERS)
- Call our office at (816) 482-8138 to have a form mailed to you,
- Send a signed letter indicating your change of address.
KCPERS doesn't maintain a temporary address, you must submit a new Address Change Request Form each time your address changes.
