KCPERS has partnered with Polaris Insurance Solutions to provide our members with additional education and guidance on insurance-related topics as part of our ongoing commitment to retirement readiness and long-term financial planning.
Through this partnership, Polaris will serve as an educational resource for members seeking to better understand insurance topics that commonly arise in retirement, including Medicare, Long-Term Care, and the potential tax considerations associated with both. Their insights are intended to complement the information provided by the Department and KCPERS and help members better evaluate how insurance decisions may affect their long-term planning.
Polaris also offers members the opportunity to schedule individual appointments to discuss their personal circumstances, needs, and budgets in greater detail. This additional resource is intended to help members make informed decisions and feel more confident as they prepare for retirement.
