Retiree Insurance Town Hall – December 16

KCPERS is pleased to announce a Retiree Town Hall on Insurance on Tuesday, December 16, from 9:00–10:30 AM. This session is designed to provide clarity, answer common questions, and offer practical, actionable information to help you navigate your insurance options in retirement.

Members of the Police Department Benefits Unit will be in attendance to discuss upcoming changes to your health care and outline the options available to our retirees through the Department.

We will also be joined by Polaris Insurance Agency, which will provide a general educational overview of Medicare, Long-Term Care, and the tax considerations associated with both. Their presentation will complement the Department’s information to help you better understand how these topics may affect your long-term planning. Following the presentation, Polaris offers individual appointments so members can discuss their unique circumstances, needs, and budgets in more detail.

📍The Town Hall will be held in the Multipurpose Room at South Patrol.

💻For those unable to attend in person, click the link so you may join the session remotely.

We encourage all retirees to participate and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the resources, benefits, and options available to you.

We look forward to seeing you there!
